Out with the old in with the new.

The lingering project is gone. Well, sort of gone. I felt I came to the time where my losses must be cut. It now sits in the rafters of my shop in pieces. Some of them will be sold, and others will will breath new life into new projects.

The new. It's an 89 four speed Sportster that I picked up before Christmas. The guy I got it from did as little as he could to bring it back to life so he could flip it. I'm calling the project Juvenile Delinquent. For those of you who don't know I come up with project names based off of the first and last initial of peoples names. It's always somebody I know, so if you think it's you let me know. Sometimes they aren't as clever as I'd like but I get stumped sometimes too. Part of the challenge is to come up with a name that makes sense and sounds good too.

I'm trying something new with this build and that's to post my progress on this blog as I go. I'll be giving updates on a regular basis. This way you guys can call me out if you think I'm slacking.

The first

I think we can all remember the first bike we ever took apart and chopped. This was my 83 Honda Ascot. I had no clue what I was doing but DAMN was it fun.
